Lela M. Six, 89, Carthage, passed away early Friday morning, September 8, 2017 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center, Carthage, MO. Lela Marrie Six was born February 20, 1928 in Fontana, KS to the late Joseph Six and May (Manley) Six. She graduated from Carthage High School, Class of 1947. She worked at C&W Café, Bob and Faye’s Café, and was a cook for five years at Fair Acres. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Carthage.
Survivors include one cousin, Richard Manley (wife Marilyn), Warsaw, MO.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Park Cemetery, Carthage. Minister Larry Graham will officiate. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Grace Pointe Assembly of God, Carthage in care of Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut, Carthage, MO 64836.
