Marjorie M. Guthrie, age 84 of Joplin, Mo. passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Marjorie was born on September 29, 1932 in Neosho, Mo. the daughter of Isiac and Nora Aline (Yetter) Jent. She has been a lifetime area resident and spent most of her days caring for her family as a homemaker.
She married Leroy Guthrie on August 8, 1948, he preceded her in death on November 9, 2003. Marjorie was also preceded by her parents and by four sisters, Deanie Griffith, Barbara Jent, Marianne Jent and Maudie Jent. Survivors include her son; Terry Guthrie of Joplin, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
