Carolyn Boehne

Carolyn Sue Boehne, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Thursday, March 11, 2021, in her home at the age of 74.

She was born on September 8, 1946 in Greenfield, MO to Merle F. and Dorothy M. (Bentley) Maize. Carolyn graduated from Lockwood High School. 

She was united in marriage to Roger A. Boehne on September 5, 1965 in Lockwood, MO. 

Carolyn worked and cared for her residents at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home as the Social Service Director for 34 years. She had a very caring heart, and would lend her help to anyone in need. Carolyn was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.







Preceding her in death her parents, Merle and Dorothy Maize; and her husband, Roger Boehne.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Elliston and husband Steve; her son, Todd Boehne and wife Kelly; five grandchildren, Chelsie Bowling and husband Brandon, Charity Gardener and husband Cody, Zach Gordon and wife Cyrussia, Kaynen Boehne, and Jacob Boehne; ten great-grandchildren, Jaden, Adi, Anna Lee, Peyton, Chastain, Cody Jean, Adi, Lane, Gweneth, and Grant; multiple nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to view and pay their respects on Tuesday at 12:00 noon until service time in the church. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, please be mindful of maintaining a social distance. Also, you are welcome to and, indeed, encouraged to wear face masks to protect yourselves and others.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Convoy of Hope. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
