Mary Esther (Adkins) Estes was born July 10, 1939 in Neosho, the daughter of Walter Eugene ‘Gene’ and Esther E. (Goade) Adkins. She entered into rest on March 18, 2021 with family at her side, following a one month illness at the age of 81.

She was a caregiver for many years, caring for her father, Gene and aunt, Blanche Wallen. Mary Esther enjoyed her animals, was an avid Cardinal baseball fan, but her greatest love was her family. She was a member of the Goodman Methodist Church.
