Florence Louise Smith, age 72, of Lamar, MO passed away March 9, 2021, at her home.
Florence was born September 8, 1948, in Kansas City, MO to Isaac Newton Smith Sr. and Emma Louise (Huntoon) Smith.
She attended school in Kansas City, before moving to Lamar with her family. She enjoyed watching movies, especially westerns and Sci-Fi movies. Florence also liked to embroider.
Survivors include two brothers and their wives, Isaac and Mary Smith of Lamar, MO and Charles and Clara Smith of Sheldon, MO; nephews, Christopher Smith, Matthew Smith, Kevin Smith, and Scott Smith; one niece, Tabatha Smith Ngugi; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews
Preceding Florence in death were her parents and one brother, John Smith of Kansas City, MO.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Iantha Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Salvation Army in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
