Joyce Ann (Gray) Hudgins 72, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 8th, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family, following a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born on January 14, 1949 in El Paso, Texas, Daughter of the late Archie Walter and Willie B (Bell) Gray. She was educated in the Texas school system.
On February 7, 1994, she married Rick Hudgins in Miami, Oklahoma. She was employed at Walmart where she later retired. She loved her coworkers dearly. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, crafting, crocheting, fishing, and camping.
She is survived by her devoted husband Rick Hudgins of Joplin, MO, Son Allen Harris Jr. and Wife Becky Harris of Overland Park, KS, Daughter Dawn Harris-Redding of Joplin, MO, Sister Mary Ward of Nevada, and Sister Carol Beltran of El Paso, Texas. 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Father Archie, Mother Willie, her Brothers Sammy and John, and her Sisters Hazel, Dorothy, Betty, Edna, Peggy and Anita.
A Celebration Of Life is to be held by the Family at a later date.
Joyce was my world, she is missed dearly. Rest in peace my love.
