Lloyd York

Lloyd Kenneth York, 77, of Seneca, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Lloyd was born December 14, 1943 in Seneca, Missouri to William and Juanita (Russell) York. He worked for Tindle Feed out of Neosho, retiring in 2006 after 35 years of service. 

During his career, Lloyd loaded and delivered feed to area farmers, always taking time to remember their names and showing interest in their lives. He never met a stranger and was always friendly. In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed playing pool and spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. Nothing beat the love he had for his family and his friends. Lloyd will be greatly missed by all who knew him.








In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Lynn York; and three brothers, Leroy, T.J., and Marvin York.

He is lovingly survived by his son, Kenneth York (Amanda); daughter, Shelly Ward; five grandchildren, Cody York, Myleah Morton, Joseph Ward, Connor McDowell, and Chelsey Culp; five great-grandchildren, Colesyn, Koya, Dallas, Payton, and Logan; two sisters, Letha Fritchey and Jessie Bates; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. In his memory, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
