Johnny was a minister with the Assembly of God Church, and was a member of the Northwest Assembly of God in Miami, OK. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, ministry, and family gatherings.
Johnny is survived by his parents, Ray and Delpha Merriman of Seneca, MO; three children, Bryan Merriman of Wyandotte, OK, Angelia Davis and husband, Eugene of Wyandotte, and Amy Doll and husband, Mark of Winter Haven, FL; two brothers, Gary Merriman and wife, Marilyn of Sebring, FL, and Raymon Merriman and wife, Julie of Neosho, MO; one sister, Evelyn Meredith and husband, Jess of Neosho, MO; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
