Morris Ehrhart

Morris G. Ehrhart, 71, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest March 22, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO after a long illness.

Morris G. Ehrhart was born October 17, 1949 in Evansville, IN the son of Charles (Pard) Ehrhart and Maxine (Rinehart) Ehrhart. 

Morris served this nation in the United States Navy. He worked for La-Z-Boy Midwest in Neosho, MO retiring after 45 years. Morris was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Seneca First Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon at First Baptist for many years. 








Throughout his life he touched many lives sharing the love of Christ with everyone he met. Morris was a leader and was very respected. He loved his 1970 GTO which he displayed at numerous car shows winning countless awards. Morris proudly drove his GTO in all the Seneca parades. Morris loved fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren in which he treasured. Morris will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and his friends.

Morris G. Ehrhart married Alinda Church December 18, 1971 in Seneca, MO and she survives.

Additional survivors include his children; Justin Ehrhart and Annette, Seneca, MO, Melissa Eurit and Cody, Seneca, MO and Tyler Ehrhart and Tracy, Seneca and; grandchildren, Zach and Bri Ehrhart, Colton Ehrhart, Caleb and Delaney Ehrhart, Taighan Ehrhart, Mia Ehrhart, Reese Ehrhart and Payne Ehrhart ; Great-Grandchildren, Spencer Ehrhart, Kabela Ehrhart, Hutlee Ehrhart, Rhett Ehrhart, Skylar Ehrhart and Tymber Ehrhart; Sisters, Kay Palmer and Chester, Miami, OK and Janet Wright, Neosho, MO; siter-in-laws, Janet and Charlie Swadley, Wyandotte, OK and Janie and Paul Glenndenning, Pawhuska, OK; a host of extended family and friends.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents Pard and Maxine Ehrhart and great-grandson Cheyenne Michael Ehrhart.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Seneca First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Seneca First Baptist Church with Aaron Weibel, Rod VanGorkom and David Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Zach Ehrhart, Caleb Ehrhart, Colton Ehrhart, Payne Ehrhart, Michael Million and Waymeth Boyer serving as pallbearers; Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Tanner, Travis Clouse, Paul Glenndenning, Dan West, Doug Scribner, Kirk Denny and George Forrest.
