Jeanette Maloy

Jeanette (Net) Ann Maloy age 56 passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. Jeanette was born October 15, 1964, in Texarkana, AR, to Jean Prud’homme and Bernice Faulknor. She graduated from Liberty Eylau High School in Texarkana, TX, where she was involved with band and choir. 

Jeanette married Kenneth Anthony (Tony) Maloy on June 2, 2007. She graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College with an associates degree in nursing in 2015. She was employed at Freeman Health Systems as a security guard in December of 2008 and worked her way up to her current career as an RN at Freeman Wound Care Clinic. 

Jeanette was a faithful member of the Forest Park Church Community. She loved her work with Awanas and Celebrate Recovery, but her favorite pastime was playing with her grandkids, and spending time with her family.







Jeanette is survived by her husband Tony Maloy of Joplin, MO, her daughters Misty Tyler, her husband Patrick Tyler of Oronogo, MO, and Emily Easterling, her husband Jason Easterling of Carl Junction, MO, and Lauren Kelley, and her husband Keith Kelley of El Dorado Springs, MO, her grandchildren Jason Easterling, Corbin Easterling, Olivia Tyler, Ainslee Kelley, and Evelyn Easterling, her mother Bernice Faulknor, and stepfather James Faulknor of Texarkana, TX, her brothers Lester Prud’homme of Texarkana, TX, Andy Prud’homme of Little Rock, AR, and his wife Tish Prud’homme and their daughter Andi Marie Prud’homme, her mother-in-law Darlene Maloy of Texarkana, TX, her sisters-in-law Lynn Baird of Texarkana, TX, Dina Klimaszewski of Texarkana, TX, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her father Jean Prud’homme of Texarkana TX.

Her visitation will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10 am followed by the service at 11 am at Forest Park Baptist Church with Pastor John Swadley officiating. 

Pallbearers are Lester Prud’homme, Andy Prud’homme, Jason Easterling, Patrick Tyler, Mike Klimaszewski, and Keith Kelley, and honorary pallbearers Jason Easterling Jr. and Corbin Easterling. Burial will follow services in Carl Junction Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Mission Joplin through the Forest Park Baptist Church website. The family would like to thank Randy Nace of Simpson Funeral Home, Pastor John Swadley, and the whole Forest Park Baptist Church community, and all the wonderful healthcare providers at Freeman Health Systems for the excellent care they provided during this troubling time.
