(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Peggy Yvonne Pease, age 52, passed away at 5:00 am, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Via Christi Village, Pittsburg, KS following an illness.
Peggy was born September 28, 1968 in Odessa, TX. Her parents were Herbert E and Betty Lou (Riggins) Bullard Sr. She grew up in Odessa and had lived in Columbus the past 20 years, moving from Cherryvale, KS.
Peggy worked as a caregiver for Class Ltd. She attended Trinity Worship Center, Baxter Springs, KS. She enjoyed caring for her pet named Bella and watching her grandkids.
Peggy was married to Robert Edward Pease on March 20, 2004 at Riverton, KS. He survives.
Additional survivors include one son William Chase McGaugh, Cherryvale, KS; three step-children, Cassaundra Copher (Joshua), Joplin, MO, Jason Edward Pease (Rebecca), Columbus, and Mason Dean Pease (Summer), Columbus; one brother, Butch Bullard (Darlene), Longview, TX; three sisters, Debbie Wingfield, Duson, LA, Jeanette Chipman (Gary), Longview, TX and Sherry Dech, Broussard, LA; six grandchildren, Layten Copher, Kyler Copher, Allyson Copher, Jayden Pease, Jaelynn Pease and Brayden Pease; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her favorite dog, Bosley.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Columbus, KS. Pastor Steve Fellers will officiate. Burial will be in Edna Cemetery, Edna, KS.
The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward her funeral expenses.
