Twyla Robbins

Twyla Ruth Robbins 88, Stark City, MO entered into rest March 12, 2021 after a period of declining health. She was born May 18, 1932 in Stark City to Mary (Hutchings) and Sherman Jones. 

Twyla worked at Rocketdyne in Neosho, MO for ten years before beginning her banking career with the former First National Bank of Neosho. She then worked for US Bank in Wheaton, retiring at the age of 72, with over 40 years in the banking industry. 

Twyla married Bill R. Robbins on December 18, 1954; he passed away July 11, 1990. 







She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Neosho. Twyla was an avid quilter and a Kansas Jayhawks fan. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and going to ballgames. 

Twyla is survived by two children, Kathy Sreaves and husband, Jess of Fairview, MO and Debbie Harper and husband, Doug of Stark City, MO; a cousin whom she loved like a sister, Dee Ann Crangle and husband, Myron of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Jake Harper and wife, Emily, Lindsay Sreaves, Matt Harper, and Sarah Harper; and four great grandchildren, Maddie, Gracie, Josie, and Allie Harper. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Twyla was preceded in death by a sister, Erma Sharp and a brother, Raymond Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 19, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO, with interment following at Dice Cemetery, Fairview, MO. 

Jess Sreaves, Doug Harper, Jake Harper, Lindsay Sreaves, Matt Harper, and Sarah Harper will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday evening at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Contributions to honor Twyla may be made to Joplin Humane Society, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
