Mary Graham

Mary Louise Graham, age 80, Joplin, departed her loving family on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Mary was born May 4, 1940 in Joplin, daughter of the late Elmer Chambers and Betty Jane (Wyman) Chambers.

Mary wed Bobby Garrett, Sr. in October 1956 and is mother to Bobby Garrett, Jr., Debra Sue Lansaw and Glenda Russow.








Mary was an LPN for some time prior to following the military career of her second husband, Richard Graham. She enjoyed traveling the country and abroad, most notably she rode in Marine One and met several high-ranking officials to include President Reagan and his wife Nancy, Prince Charles & Princess Diana while attending balls and government functions.

Upon Mary’s separation from Richard, she lived the rest of her days in Joplin where she was active in her church Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Joplin. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her pets, grandchildren, and spending hours in her flower beds.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Sue Lansaw, who passed away on February 18, 2013.

She is survived by her son Bobby Garrett, Jr. (Debra Kay) of Joplin; daughter, Glenda Russow (Karl) of Seneca; brother, Freddie Chambers (Sharon) of Huntsville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at 1406 Event Center, 1406 Cherokee, Seneca, MO 64865. Flowers can be delivered to this location.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
