Lang Franks

Lang Franks was born August 28, 1941 to Charles Perry and Maiden (Wolfenbarger) Franks. He died at home, with family by his side, on March 30, 2021 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s, at the age of 79. 

Lang graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1959, and was proud to be a lifelong Neosho area resident. He worked as a pipe fitter at B.F. Goodrich for twenty years, followed by working at C.V. Glass for fifteen years until his retirement. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching Missouri Tiger and St. Louis Cardinal games and was an avid golfer. 

Lang and Judy were married April 10, 1959 in Miami, Oklahoma and they shared sixty one years together. 








 In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Kelly Franks and wife Cindy of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Clay Franks and wife Tamara of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ryan, Ben and Taylor Franks and four great grandchildren, Jensen, Sawyer, Beckett, and Ryder Franks. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Franks. 

Chapel service will be Thursday, April 1, at 1:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Neosho, Missouri. Pastor Ryan Franks will be officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Stella, Missouri. Family will receive friends at visitation, Thursday, April 1, from Noon to 1 pm.
