(From McQueen Funeral Home)John Wilkinson, age 79, of Neosho, Missouri, formerly of Wheaton, Missouri passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
John was born on November 3, 1941, in Eakly, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest P. and Vera M. (Beall) Wilkinson. He was united in marriage to Louise Lombard who preceded him in death on August 27, 2012. Also preceding him in death were his parents and many dear friends.
Surviving are two brothers, Don Wilkinson and his wife Kristy of Spiro, Oklahoma and Dean Wilkinson of Spiro, Oklahoma and many dearly loved friends.
As a young boy, he moved to California for a time where he graduated from high school. He owned and operated John’s Tractor Shop in Wheaton for many years. He had a passion for flying, aerial acrobatic maneuvers and restoring antique tractors and cars. He also had a huge love of music his entire life and played guitar and sang since the age of 14 years old up until the time of his death. Later in life he loved to travel to various areas throughout the United States. He grew up in a religious family and carried a deep faith in the Lord his entire life.
No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri.
