JoAnn Lamp

JoAnn Lamp was born October 31, 1945 in Stella, Missouri, one of seven children to Joe and Mary (Wilson) Martin. She entered into rest on July 26, 2021 in Joplin, following a sudden illness at the age of 75.

JoAnn was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Granby High School. She served as city clerk for the city of Granby for 28 years and co-owned Clark Seamless Guttering for many years. She currently served as Southward Alderman of Granby, had served on the Twin Oaks Senior Housing, City of Granby TIF Board and in 2011 was honored as the Granby Honored Citizen. She was a member of the Granby First Church of God. 








JoAnn and Clinton Lamp were married on Nov. 3, 1961 in Granby and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2015. 

 She is survived by her son, Mike Lamp of Granby; three grandchildren, Greyson, Kennedy and Taylor; one brother, Paul Dean (Katherine) Martin of Granby; three sisters, Katherine (Denny) Stipp of Granby, Lois Gilstrap of Granby and Jeannie (Norman) Flink of Neosho; sister in law, Patsy Bomstead of Seneca; two brothers in law, Floyd Lamp of Granby and Ralph (Joyce) Lamp and numerous other family members and many friends. 

 In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stacey Jo Lamp, her parents and two brothers, George Martin and James Martin.
