Judy Molter

Wilma “Judy” (Bryant) Molter was born in Galena KS on August 26, 1948. She gained her angel wings at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO on Jul 19, 2021 after a long battle with heart disease.

Judy was a life-long cosmetologist who lived to give us all perms we all called afros as many pictures show. She loved her Lord, her family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was also an avid baker who made the BEST cinnamon rolls, sourdough bread and monster cookies.








Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Wilma (Rindt) Bryant of Galena; a brother Harry Bryant of Baxter Springs, KS. Grandparents George and Ola Mae Rindt of Union Chapel and grandmother Susie Bryant of Galena.

Judy is survived by two sons, Scott Youngblood of Lebanon, IN and Doug Youngblood of Diamond, MO; three daughters, Melissa Fowler (Richard), Oronogo, MO, Sarah Jaillet (Michael), Springdale, AR, and Mary Law (Tim), Wister, OK; two brothers, Grant Bryant (Tina), Riverton, KS and Roy Dale Bryant (Martha) Gunterville, AL; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and multiple cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 23, 2021 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS. Pastor Timothy Tierney will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena, KS

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS.
