Don Mullin

Donald G. Mullin, 82, Seneca, MO, passed away July 14, 2021.

Donald G. Mullin was born September 9, 1938 in South West City, MO the son of Ted and Walsa (Long) Mullin. 

Don served his country in the United States Navy. He served until 1975. Don then went to work on the Alaska pipeline until he reenlisted in 1980 and served in Spain until his retirement in 1983. 








Don went to work for the Newton County Sheriffs Department as a Jailor. In 1985 he became the administrator for the Newton County Ambulance District. In 1988 he moved and worked for the Johnson County Sheriffs Department and finally retiring in 1998. Don then moved back to Seneca. He loved traveling and his travels took him all over the world. Don married Tadako Fujitani September 25, 1959 in Yokohama, Japan. Don and Tadako made many trips to Tadako’s homeland over the years. They also made many trips to South Carolina. Don loved spending time with his family.

Don was preceded in death by Tadako; his parents, brother-in-law, Bennie Noonkester, Sister-in-laws, Helen Mullin and Barbara Mullin.

Survivors include two sons; Warren Mullin, Bentonville, AR and Johnathan Mullin, Columbia, SC; one daughter, Donna Bell, Seneca; Grandchildren, Christopher Mullin and wife Megan, Lexington, SC, Andrew Mullin, Lexington, SC, Mathew Mullin, Charlotte, SC, Garrison Mullin, Columbia, SC and Shauna Shea and husband Micheal, Seneca; Great-grandchildren; Elli, Robbi, Lilly, Colin, Abbey, Amelia and Oliver; Siblings; Wayne Mullin, Miami, OK, Fred Mullin and wife Jackie, Miami, OK, Jerry Mullin, Quapaw, OK, Ed Mullin, Joplin, MO, Carol Brown and husband Roger, Neosho, MO and Loetta Noonkester, Clovis, CA.

A short Celebration of Life Service will be held, Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 6:00pm. Following the Celebration of Life Service, the family will receive friends. Following services the body will be taken for cremation. 

Services are under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
