(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Phillip Andrew Moore, age 52 of Columbus, KS passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
Phillip was born May 29, 1969 to Gary Moore and Carlene "Mary" Byrd Moore, in Neosho, Missouri. He graduated from Neosho High School, and went on to Tulsa Welding School from there. Additionally, Phillip served our country as a member of the US Army in Desert Storm, 81st Battalion.
He was also a truck driver, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, was a gun enthusiast, but most enjoyed spending time with his family.
In 2008, he married Mariah Joan Goulding in Neosho, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Also surviving are his father Gary Moore of Neosho, MO; 2 sons: Cameron Moore of Neosho, MO, and Mikell Moore (fiance Mercedes Wolford) of Springfield and Neosho; 2 daughters: Taylor Sheppard of Springfield, MO, and Carelene Moore of Columbus, KS; 3 brothers: Johnny Moore of Joplin, MO, Paul Moore (wife Martha) of Neosho, MO, and David Moore of Neosho, MO, 2 grandchildren Raelynn Moore and Emberlynn Moore; and 23 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Moore.
Cremation arrangments are being handled through Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus, Kansas; no services are scheduled at this time. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date at Hazelwood Cemetery in Neosho, MO.
