(From Simpson Funeral Home)Tobi Lynn Mallos age 71 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Carthage, Missouri to Roscoe Peoples and Viola (Vanwey) Peoples on September 3, 1949.
Tobi was a member of the First Christian Church in Webb City, loved her animals and loved to work with flowers and garden.
She married Richard (Duke) Mallos on February 28, 1970 in Webb City at the Central Untied Methodist Church and he survives her at home.
Tobi is also survived by her son, Tony Mallos of Kansas City, Missouri; daughters, Christina Taylor of Denver, Colorado, Tami Ball of Arizona, Vity fiddler of Galena, Kansas, Lanette Johnson of Joplin; grandchildren, Victoria Amber Mallos, Sydney Ball and Shelby Ball; one sister, Teri Cartwright; and numerous friends that were considered family.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10:30 AM in the Mount Hope Cemetery Open Air Pavilion. The family will be present for visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Joplin Humane Society in Tobi’s memory.
