(From Clark Funeral Home)Linda Susan Hawkins-Good was born December 2, 1960, in West Plains, Missouri, the daughter of William and Helen (Johnson) Hawkins. She entered into rest on July 16, 2021, in Joplin, following a one-year illness at the age of 60.
Linda graduated from West Plains High School and then attended college studying accounting. She moved to the Joplin area in the mid-1980s and had worked as a respiratory therapist at the dialysis center. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, making jewelry, was an avid reader, and loved being by the ocean. She was a member of Racine Christian Church.
Linda is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Tommy Pogue; seven children, Jennifer (Steven) Hill of Joplin, Ben (Melissa) Watkins of Carl Junction, Paul Good of Joplin, Susan (Andy) Rothermel of Seminole, Florida, Amanda (Chris) Creviston of Neosho, Austin Pogue and John Pogue, both of Joplin; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by a grandson, Javon Hill, her parents, a brother, Rick Hawkins, and a sister, Debbie Beadke.
Services will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Neosho. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 am until 5 pm.
