(From Knell Mortuary)Diana Rosalee Parker, 64, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Joplin, Missouri. Diana was born on November 14, 1956, in Carthage the daughter of the late Harold and Louise (Kleiss) Smith. She was a 1976 graduate of Carthage High School.
She married James Parker on April 20, 1989, in Carthage; he survives of the home. She worked as a nurse for Avilla schools, and later as a secretary for the Harvest Community Church. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, James; her children, Chad Parker (Shasta), Riverton, Kansas, Nathan Parker (Alison) Anaheim, California, Brittany Driskell (William), Carthage, Tasha Parker, Carthage, Hanna Parker, Carthage, Charity Parker, Carthage, and Isabella Parker, Carthage; an aunt, Louise Maggard, Carthage; and 19 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Jammie Parker, and Adam Parker.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Knell Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Fullerton Cemetery, Carthage. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Knell Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to the Harvest Community Church in care of the Knell Mortuary.
