Tom Robison

Thomas Lee Robison, 90, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 17, 2021 with his loving family at his side. 

Tom was born in Webb City, Missouri to Bernace and Lucille Robison on January 25, 1931. He graduated from Saint Peters High School in Joplin, Missouri and soon after, enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 1948. 

Tom married Kay George on September 18, 1954 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City, Missouri.








Tom had many friends. He was an avid golfer, winning many golf tournaments, most notably, the Missouri Senior Amateur Golf Championship in 1993.

Tom is survived by his four daughters: Teri Collins and husband Steve Collins, Stefanie Martin, Melissa Nilges and her fiancé Jeremy Thompson, Vanessa Ash and husband Brian Ash; grandchildren: Courtney Bain, Nichole Roderique, Jarred Collins, Jason Collins, Jimmy Nilges, Taylor Lloyd, Chance Nilges, Sydney Bounds, Nicholas Ash, and Cameron Ash; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Kay, his parents and his sister, Shirley Hall.






Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Prayer service will follow at 2:45 p.m. with Fr. Louis Nelen officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
