David Hall

David Earl Hall, age 71, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 9:19 a.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri. He was born March 16, 1950, in Blair, Oklahoma, the son of the late Foy Earl and Lois Christine (Byrd) Hall.

David was a 1969 graduate of Carl Junction High School, in Carl Junction, Missouri. He was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed coloring and making pictures for everyone. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church.








David is survived by two sisters, Phyllis King of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Lisa Hyde and her husband, Paul, of Clever, Missouri; one brother, Kem Hall and his wife, Mary, of Mt. Vernon. He had 25 nieces and nephews, including greats and great-greats, and he always remembered all of their birthdays. He is also survived by a very special cousin (more like a brother) Bob Collier and his wife Linda, of Carl Junction, several other cousins, and aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
