Judy Cantrell

Judy Lee Cantrell, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at her home with family and friends by her bedside. She was born on February 26, 1948, in Westline, MO to her parents, John Estes and Christine Creager-Estes.

Judy adored her family and friends, Jeopardy, and reading Danielle Steel books. Along with Mary, Ms. Judy was a devoted Sunday school teacher and loved singing her heart out at church for Jesus. Judy was a dedicated and hard worker – working many years at Simmons, Dollar General and retiring from Cheapo Depo.






 

Judy was not only dedicated to work, she was greatly dedicated to her family; as a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Christine Estes; two brothers, Billie Estes and Jimmie Estes; three sisters, Martha Jones, Betty Dumas, and twin Jane Blevins; and her husband of 53 years, Andrew Cantrell.

She is survived by her two children, daughter Kristen Cantrell of Orlando, FL and son Jimmy (Bo) Cantrell and wife Shelly of Grove, OK. One granddaughter, Savoy King and husband Kyler of Leavenworth, KS; one great-grandson, Karson King and one great-granddaughter, Kipton Cantrell King. Judy’s surviving siblings Dixie Nelson of Joplin, MO and Bessie Sims also of Joplin, MO. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.






 

Judy's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 11:00 am at Lawson's Funeral Homes Chapel, 722 N. 46th St, Grove, OK 74344. Followed by her Funeral Procession to Butler Cemetery, Butler, OK.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 722 N. St. Grove, OK 74344 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
