(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)James (Jimmy) Vernon Rhinehart, 88, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest July 7, 2023, at his home in rural Seneca after an illness.
Jimmy Rhinehart was born September 10, 1934, in Fayetteville, Washington County, AR, the son of William and Hazel (Yeager) Rhinehart. Jimmy graduated Keota, OK High School and then went to Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, OK. Jimmy served his country in the US Army from 1957 to 1961.
Jimmy was an owner and operator of a cattle farm. He retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1978. He enjoyed being outdoors, driving his tractor and supervising the boys in all the endeavors of the farm.
Jimmy was of the Christian Faith.
James Vernon Rhinehart married Peggy Jean Watley on June 4, 1955, and she preceded him in death December 14, 2013. Jimmy was also preceded in death by his parents William and Hazel Rhinehart; brothers Billy Rhinehart, Lewis Rhinehart and Robert Rhinehart; sisters JoAnn Blaylock, Helen Smith and Wilma Neal.
Jimmy was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include his children Vernon Rhinehart and wife Darla, Diamond, Phillip Rhinehart, Seneca, Daryle Rhinehart and wife Rose, Seneca, Patty Parker, Joplin and Diana Rhinehart, Neosho; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home. The body will be taken for cremation following the services.
