Larry Thomas

Larry Lee Thomas, age 86, a lifelong resident of Joplin, Missouri passed away Sunday January 7, 2024 at Mercy Hospital.

Larry was born July 14, 1937 and was raised by Lee Thomas and Grace Thomas.

Larry married Betty Scott on February 7, 1958 and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Gary Thomas and wife Judy, Deborah Childers and husband Terry, Darrell Thomas and Lee Ann Hutson. Larry is also survived by nine grandchildren, Nathan Thomas, Dara Best, Jeremy Thomas, Bobbie DeGraff, Shawn Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Alex Thomas, Brandon Thomas, and Samantha Thomas.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday January 11, 2024 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Kent Pratt officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at the Mortuary.
