Bill Schrader

(From Weng Funeral Chapel)

William "Bill" Terry Schrader, born on May 22, 1954, in Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home in Jasper, Missouri, on August 10, 2024, at the age of 70. Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Bill was the beloved son of the late Roy and Margaret (Smith) Schrader.

He married the love of his life, Bonita "Bonnie" Crady, on February 18, 1977. Together, they shared a beautiful journey and raised three daughters: Kristal, Terry, and Kandee. Bill faced the heart-wrenching loss of his daughter Kandee, but his love for his family and close friends remained steadfast and strong.

A man of many passions, Bill found great joy in hunting and fishing. He had an adventurous spirit and was known for his willingness to place a bet or gamble on just about anything. His enthusiasm for life and his lively personality made him a memorable presence to all who knew him. Bill never knew a stranger and always lived life to the fullest.

Bill's legacy lives on through his devoted soulmate Bonnie, his daughters Kristal Schrader and Terry Schrader-Lucas, and his son-in-law John Lucas, as well as his extended family. He was a loving grandfather to Mason Schrader, Seth Mitchell, Felicity Weaver, Maggie Schrader, Jaylee Tracey, Shane Mitchell, Casey Lucas, Nicholas Lucas, Chase Lucas, and Gracie Girard. His great-grandchildren Jade, Libby, Emmy, Brynlee, Lincoln, Weston, Carter, Jordy, Parkar, Rykan, and Beatrice were a source of immense joy for him. Bill also treasured his many nieces and nephews, who held a special place in his heart.

Bill was a brother to Sonny Schrader, Roy "Dump" Schrader, Jim "Keek" Schrader, Joy Boggs, Linda Schrader, and the late Nancy Lee Schrader, Morris "Buddy" Schrader, Margaret "Peggy" Ritchie, Lucille Garber, and Geri Sallee. He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Bill’s honor. A private service will be held to celebrate Bill's life and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him.

Rest in peace, Bill. Your memory will forever be cherished.
