Debra Baker

Debra Sue Baker was born on November 1, 1952, in Neosho, Missouri, one of three children to Onis and Colleen (James) Roberts. She entered into rest at her home in Diamond, Missouri, at the age of 71. 

Debra was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Diamond High School in 1970. She attended and graduated from cosmetology school and later graduated with her LPN degree. She had worked as a supervisor for Brass Eagle and then at the Diamond Public Schools as school nurse until her retirement on September 2, 2014. 








 Debra enjoyed time with her grandchildren and listening to Conway Twitty and Elvis Prelsey music. She was a member of Diamond First Baptist Church. 

On April 9, 1971, in Carthage, Missouri, Debra and Rickey Baker were united in marriage and they shared fifty-three years together. 

She is survived by her husband, Rickey; two children, Bruce Baker and wife, Carita of Dusquene, Missouri and Jeannie Pennington and husband, Rocky of Diamond; six grandchildren, Ricky Baker, Megan Baker, Brian Pennington, Cody Baker, Kayla Pennington and Kelly Yeager and three great grandchildren, Deacon, Madison and Everly; one brother, Steve Roberts and wife, Debbie of Rocky Comfort and her best friend, Donna Harrington. 








She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gary Roberts.

    Rick, Bruce, Jeanne and family, I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Deb has left wonderful memories of her life and laughter for all of us. Prayers for your comfort and peace until you meet again.
