(From Peterson Funeral Home)Karen Sue Luney, age 76 of Aurora, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at her home. She was born April 27, 1948 in Aurora, Missouri. The daughter of John W. Ormsby and Toy "Nadine" Daum.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary (Violet) Atkinson of Aurora, Missouri and Donnie Atkinson of Sarcoxie, Missouri; three daughters, Shiela Sane of Joplin, Missouri, Terrie Lea Luney of Aurora, Missouri, and Tina Luney of Aurora, Missouri; one brother, Mike Ormsby of Aurora, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, John and Nadine Ormsby; and two brothers, Warren Ormsby and Wayne Ormsby.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in Peterson Funeral Chapel.
A Graveside Service was held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Maple Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
