Ann Patton

D. Ann Patton, 83, Granby, died May 13, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness. 

Ann was born Feb. 26, 1933 in Fayette, MO, the daughter of Russell Edward and Mabel Irene (Page) Silvey, one of fourteen children. She was a lifelong area resident and a homemaker. Ann was and encourager and loved to laugh. She was a faithful member of the Church of God in Granby and was a prayer warrior. 

 Ann married Gene Scott Patton and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two children, Ron Patton and wife, Brandi of Bloomington, IN and Teresa Thompson and husband, David of Joplin; grandchildren, Matthew Thompson and Sarah Thompson of Joplin; Michael Patton, Stephen Patton, Traci Alcorn and Thomas Carter and step grandchildren, Ally Kilmer and Nicole Kilmer; two sisters, Paula Walker, Prairie Village, KS and Barbara Wyman of Archie, MO and three brothers, Frances’Bud’ Lee Silvey, Booneville, MO; Jack Page Silver, Texas and Robert E. Silvey, Akron, OH. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by 3 sisters and five brothers.
