Don Wade Zimmerman, age 81, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his home.
Don was born November 7, 1934 in Bakersfield, California, son of the late Glen and Evelyn Wade Zimmerman. He attended school in California, and received a degree in the Arts. He worked his entire career as a Land Rights Consultant, and retired in 1998 as owner and operator of his own company, Z Land Services. He moved to Joplin in 2014. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, who died February 14, 2008.
Don is survived by two daughters, Krista Beck of Joplin, and Heidi Connelly of Homeland, California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dean Zimmerman and Derrell Zimmerman; a sister, Aire Vines.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
