Lois Marie Jones, age 83, Joplin, passed away at 5:11 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Mercy Hospital.
Lois was born September 5, 1932 in Joplin to the late Fred Ray Kingrey and Agnes Marie Stewart Kingrey and had lived in Joplin all of her life.
She worked at Industrial Linen Company for over 20 years. Lois was a former member of the Eagles Club and was active with the Joplin Association of the Blind.
Survivors include her sons, Rick Alan Jones, Enid, Oklahoma, David Ray Jones and his wife, Kathy, Joplin, Kenneth Dale Jones, Joplin, Steven Douglas Jones and his girlfriend, Chris Simon, Joplin; former husband, James R. Jones and his wife, Virginia, Joplin; grandchildren, Jeremy, Amber, Erica, Brandon, Cody, Caleb; and great grandchildren, Kasey, Danielle, Chezney and Cadee.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a grandson, Kirk Jones in 2006.
Services are planned for Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. John Wilkins will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
