Dora Huntley

Dora M. Huntley, 82, Neosho, died May 25, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, following a sudden illness. 

 Dora was born Feb. 15, 1934 in Neosho, the daughter of George R. and Mary (Wilson) Huffman. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked in the upholstery department of La Z Boy in Neosho. Dora was an avid reader and enjoyed birdwatching. She was a member of the Belfast Church of Christ. 

 Dora married LeRoy Samuel Huntley, Jr. and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2001. She is survived by a son, Robert Huntley of Neosho; two granddaughters, Ciara Huntley of Neosho and Heather Nurmikko of Seattle, WA; great grandson, Declan Nurmikko of Seattle, WA; three brothers, James Huffman and John Huffman of Neosho and Clyde Huffman of Bandon, OR and a sister, Frances Robinson of Neosho. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, LeRoy Huntley, III on Sept 11, 1977; brother, Joe Huffman and sister, Linda Huffman.

Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
