Sandra C. Collins, age 66, of Webb City passed away at her home on Friday, May 6, 2016 from an extended illness.
She was born on September 24, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri to Theodore Hemby and Vivian (Dyer) Hemby. Sandra worked for Pizza Inn in Joplin as a delivery driver for over 14 years, she loved playing her Nintendo 64, and watching some of her favorite movies such as the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren who she loved very much. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Hemby and a sister, Diane Hopper.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Traci Henson and husband Dennis of Oronogo, Teresa Phelan and husband Richard of Webb City; son, Scott Brotton and fiancé Autumn of Webb City; brothers, Joe Hemby, Wesley Hemby, Bobby Hemby; sisters, Carol Fox, Sharon Hemby, Becky Bigbee, Cheryl Patton; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Sandra has been taken for cremation.
The family will have a celebration of life on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parkwood Apartments Community Room, 1800 North Rangeline Road.
