Sheila Turner entered into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on May 13, 2016 at her home at the age of 60.
Sheila was born Aug. 27, 1955 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of John and Betty (Burr) Whittington. She was a lifelong area resident and had attended SWBC. She had worked at La Z Boy as a sewing machine operator; a teller at Neosho Savings and Loan and her dream job, a veterinarian assistant for Dr. Wooten in Anderson. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her puppies and sewing. Sheila was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and was a good Christian woman. She always had a smile that touched everyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grammy and sister.
Sheila married Jim Turner on March 23, 1985 in Miami, OK and he survives. She is also survived by two children, Joey Adams and wife, Stacey of Granby; Amanda Weaver and husband, Bill of Neosho; step-son, Jacob Turner and wife, Tabitha of Joplin; four grandchildren, Jackson Adams, Will Adams, Isaak Howard and Molly Weaver; three step grandchildren, Sofia Turner, Carol Weaver and Katie Weaver; three brothers, Ed Whittington and wife, Martha, Scott Whittington and Mitchell Whittington, all of Neosho and a sister, Diane Ward and husband, Bob of Goodman. She is preceded in death by her parents and an aunt, Earlene Brannick.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
