Gary DeWayne Huston of Joplin, MO passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 at his home. He was 55.
Gary was born January 9, 1961 in Columbus, KS to Ralph and Janette (Bowers) Huston. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1979. He had lived in Joplin since 2005, moving from Miami, OK.
Gary was a truck driver for Girton Propane Company in Clay Center, KS. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren.
He married Terry Jones on May 29, 1982. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include 2 sons, Justin Huston and his wife Jennifer of Carthage, MO and Jeremy Huston and his wife Amber of Miami, OK, 2 brothers, Chris Huston of Columbus, KS and Shannon Huston of Fairland, OK, his sister, Pam Cody of Baxter Springs, KS and 4 grandchildren, Taylor Huston, Leah Huston, Carson Huston and Ella Huston.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at2:00 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami. Paul Cook and Jeremy Huston will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, northwest of Treece, KS. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
