Betty Blosch

Betty Joan Blosch was born September 29, 1932 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Laura (Blankenship) Lasiter. Betty entered into rest on October 20, 2018 at her home in Springfield, following an extended illness at the age of 86.

 She lived most of her life in the Southwest Missouri area, with the exception of eight years, when she and her husband resided in Alabama. Betty was an instructor for many years at the Missouri School of Cosmetology in Springfield, MO. She was a member of the 7th Street Baptist Church in Cullman, AL. 

 Betty and Bobby Blosch were married on Feb. 19, 1982 in Springfield. They spent 36 years together. They enjoyed playing golf, dancing and doing things together as a couple. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Bobby; one son, Dr. Bill Evans of Cullman, AL; three grandchildren, Laura Evans, J. W. Evans, III and Anna Evans; two stepchildren, Randolph L. Blosch and wife, Barbara of Bolivar, MO and Deborah A. Anthony and husband, Russell of Scarborough Ontario, Canada; two step grandsons, Issac Anthony and Jacob Anthony; one step great grandson, Rowen Anthony and one sister, Sharon Zimmerman and husband, Don of St. Louis, MO. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Jesse Cox, and her sister, Mary Lou Powell. 

Graveside services will be held on Wed., Oct. 24, 2018 at 2:30 pm at the Gibson Cemetery, Neosho. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Wednesday from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
