Lysle Graham

Lysle Edwin Graham, age 72, of Long Beach, passed away on October 23, 2018.

Lysle served in the U.S. Army National Guard 6 years.

He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Masters in Finance and was employed as Finance Manager for Beech Ford, Mendenhall, MS, and served as Chief of Human Resources for U.S Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, SUP-Ship, Pascagoula, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. After 32 years of Civil Service, he was a Human Resources Consultant for the U.S. Marines in New Orleans, LA.

He served as Vice President of the Carnival Association of Long Beach and was instrumental in promoting, organizing and coaching girls and boys youth Soccer, Tee Ball, and Little League Baseball. His teams won many championships throughout Lysle's coaching years. Besides coaching, Lysle loved to fish for crappie and bass on Sugar Creek, in Pineville, Missouri and he hunted for deer in north Mississippi at his camp in Electric Mills.

Lysle loved to entertain and his sense of humor was overwhelming at times. He always had a place set for his delicious steaks, chicken, turkey and venision for anyone.

Lysle's love was expressed through his actions of love HIS WAY. If it was wrapping a gift, giving advice or proving his opinion, you knew he was looking out for your best interest and sharing his lifelong experiences with love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Virginia Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Graham; his children, Kevin L. Graham and Kelly Graham Wawrek (Jon); mother of his children, Kathleen Truax Graham; his siblings, Lynn Bowman Graham (Barbara), Carl Leslie Graham (Debbie), and Clark Lee Graham; a step-son, Adam Nolan Dickerson a step-daughter, Tessa A. Dickerson; 6 grandchildren, Madison Wawrek, Aubrey Wawrek, Gracelyn Graham, James Anthony Dickerson, Alexandria Hasley, and Hannah Nicole Dickerson; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 pm Saturday, October 26, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Granby, MO.
