Charles Conrow

Charles Curtis Conrow, age 86, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his residence.

Charles was born on March 9, 1932 in Duenweg, Missouri, son of the late William Conrow and Lola (Griffis) Conrow. Charles married Rosalie Herron on June 3, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Charles was a fifty-year member of Joplin Lodge # 335, AF and AM; the Joplin Shrine Club and the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple of Springfield. He was also a member of the Wildwood Baptist Church. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed bowling and watching Nascar.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy R. Conrow and Roy (Pete) Conrow; and two sisters, Betty J. (Tootsie) King and Eula Mae Hulsey.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalie of the home; daughter, Wendy Dawn Conrow of Nixa, Missouri; brother, John H. Conrow of Joplin; sister, Emma Lou Poe of Joplin; grandson, Brady Layne Wells of Nixa; and granddaughter, Payton Elizabeth Wells of Nixa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, in care of Parker Mortuary.

Private family services are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
