Mary Gollhofer

Mary Frances Gollhofer, 88, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

Mary entered this life on August 8, 1930 in Sheridan, Wyoming to the union of the late William and Nella (Thompson) Campbell. Mary was a graduate of Clearmont High School in Clearmont, Wyoming and attended Business School in Denver, Colorado. On April 16, 1950 she was united in marriage to Ray Gollhofer, together they shared sixty seven years. For many years she was employed as a bank manager. After she and Ray retired they returned to Sarcoxie, Missouri. She enjoyed genealogy, church and her grandchildren. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sarcoxie, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one brother, Cameron Campbell.

Mary is survived by her son, William Gollhofer and wife, Michele, of Aurora, Colorado; two grandchildren, Matt Gollhofer and wife, Alexandria, of Truckee, California, and Rachel Puckett and husband, Joel, of Aurora, Colorado; two great grandsons, Bastian and Bodhi Puckett; sister-in-law’s, Eulah Gollhofer, Mary Gollhofer and Dixie Campbell; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Sarcoxie, with Pastor James Yost officiating. Interment will follow in Sarcoxie Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Stephen Gollhofer, Drew Gollhofer, Michael Gollhofer, Dave Lawyer, Rodney Reynolds and Patrick Goodnight. Honorary pallbearers are Paula Brite, Patsy Lind, Phyllis Carr, Roxie Rogers, Catherine Graham, Patricia Gwinn and Evelyn Proctor. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to Sarcoxie Veterans Memorial in care of the funeral home.
