Lora Wilson

Lora Faye Wilson, age 82, of Lockwood, Missouri, formerly of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 8:24 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood. She was born June 16, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Johnny T. and Pearl Mae (Blair) Vaile.

Lora was a 1953 graduate of Miller High School and received her associate’s degree in nursing from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. She taught and loved music and could play any instrument. She liked to sew and cook and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Lamar, Missouri.

On October 18, 1970, she married Dr. William Fiedler in Bland, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2002. In December 18, 2004, she married Ira Scott Wilson in Roanoke, Texas.

Lora is survived by her husband, Scott; three daughters, Debra Shore and her husband John, of Cedar Valley, Oklahoma, Milia Engelage and her husband Danny, of Lockwood, and Sandra Anthony and her husband Gary, of Roanoke, Texas; two sons, Douglas Fiedler of Kansas City, Missouri and Alan Rickard and his wife, Barbara, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Randy Wilson, Molly Wilson and Jamie Watson; one brother, Wesley Snyder of Miller and one sister, Rozella White of Billings, Missouri.

Her parents, Johnny and Pearl, previous husband, Dr. William Fiedler, granddaughter, Mystika Fiedler, great-granddaughter, Emma Shore and brother, Avon Snyder preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Sycamore Cemetery northeast of Miller.
