Corbin Crowder

Our beloved Corbin James Crowder, 16, of Avilla, MO, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Corbin was born March 12, 2002 in Joplin, MO to Adam Crowder and Melissa (Holtzman) Crowder. Corbin attended Avilla Schools from K - 8 and was currently attending Carthage High School. He was a bright and loving soul, full of funny stories and much joy. Corbin was a brilliant student, involved in debate, tennis and other school activities. He enjoyed video games, tennis, animals and idolized his older brother, Ian. Corbin was a fun and clever young man who loved his family and friends. We will miss him forever.

Survivors include his parents, Adam and Melissa; one brother, Ian Crowder; grandparents, Ed Holtzman (Edwina), Susan Walls (Richard), John Crowder (Martie), and Danna Redding; two uncles, James Crowder, and James “Jamie” Holtzman, one aunt Karla Holtzman; and several cousins and extended family. He was also loved by his “tribe” which consists of many extended aunts and uncles and cousins.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage. with Minister Chris Deines officiating.
