Louis Leon Hile of Inola, OK passed from this life Monday, October 08, 2018 at his home. He was 103.
Louis was born June 29, 1915 in Peoria, OK to Charley C. and Maude Mae (Nichols) Hile. He had live in the Picher, OK area for many years moving before moving to Broken Arrow and then moved to Inola a year ago. Louis was a machinist for Cox Machinery in Picher, OK for many years. He later worked at Root Mfg. in Baxter Springs, KS and Newell Coach in Miami. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Picher, Afton, Miami, Fairland and Pryor where he held many offices. He was also a member of the I.O.O.F. Encampment.
Louis was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Hile in 2007, 2 sons Charles Hile in 1975 and Elmer Hile in 2018, his parents and a brother Charles Elmer Hile.
Louis is survived by four daughters Louise Carr and husband Denny of Noel, MO, Betty Cody and husband Bob of Troy, MT, Sharon Robison and husband John of Inola, OK and Lea Anna Baltzell and husband Jon of Broken Arrow, OK
Graveside services will be Friday, October 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Jon Baltzel will officiate. Great Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday prior to services at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK.
