Deanna Kenney

Deanna R. Kenney, age 80, Joplin, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Spring River Christian Village.

Deanna was born February 9, 1939 in Joplin to the late Jack Buchanan and Mary Frances Horn Buchanan.

Deanna worked at the former Lowrance Electronics in Joplin, Autotronics, Inc. and the former Newman's Department Store for several years.

She was a member of B.P.W. for several years and enjoyed time spent with her 99 Group. Deanna was active with the JHS Class of '57 Reunion Committee and always looked forward to getting together with old friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.








Survivors include her husband, Charles, whom she married in 1966; her son, Gary Frazier, Webb City; two daughters, Cherie Baker and husband, Bob, Joplin, Kriss Harris, Joplin; one brother, David Smith and wife Virginia, Joplin; grandchildren, Brady Baker and wife, Carol, Erin Taylor and husband, Garrett, Zachary Harris and fiancé, Alexa Barlos, Seth Harris and fiancé, Natalie Capron; six great grandchildren, Abby, Camryn, Ethan, Natalee, Ty, Sophia; and three special cousins, Mike, Rick and Tony Pruitt.

Graveside services are planned for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will host a Celebration of Life Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Butcher's Block, Joplin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society, in care of Parker Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
