Rosemary Walker

Rosemary Walker, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 31st at Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Springfield. Rosemary was born June 10, 1929 in Carthage to Clarence Oran and Rosalee “Haley” Pugh. Rosemary was a lifetime resident of Southwest Missouri and retired from the department of revenue license bureau in Joplin after 25 years of service. She led a full life and enjoyed fishing, crocheting and making candy; her fudge was to die for. Rosemary had a remarkable sense of humor and was loved by all, especially her grandchildren.

Rosemary was united in marriage to Danny Walker in March of 1947 in Carthage; he preceded her in death in 1963.








Rosemary is survived by three daughters, Diana Caffey (Paul) of Sparta, MO, Debbie Lane and Roseann Emerson, both of Springfield, MO; four granddaughters, Shelly Dodson, Casey Morgan (Ty), Chrissie Woodruff (Darren) and Carrie Burke (Robbie); and nine great grandchildren.
Rosemary was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda Lane; two brothers, Hayden Pugh and Richard Pugh.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10th at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
