Robert “Bob” Lee Merrill passed away at home on February 14, 2014 at the age of 80.
The oldest of three sons, Bob was born on October 14, 1933 to Raymond Linwood Merrill and Mary Frances Armentrout. Bob served proudly in the United States Air Force for 27 years. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant, the highest noncommissioned rank attainable in the U.S. Air Force
Bob is survived by his wife Ann, daughters Linda and Michelle, stepson Jamie, stepdaughters Karen and Krissy, and a wealth of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his brother Jack and sister-in-law Marcia.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on the corner of 10th and Clinton in Carthage, MO. Inurnment will be at Park Cemetery with military honors. Rosary and visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday February 19, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
