Russell J. Keiser, Jr., age 58 of Joplin, passed away at 6:55 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born October 7, 1955 in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Russell Joseph Keiser, Sr. and Hazel Pearl Mason Keiser. Before becoming disabled, Russell worked as a cabinet maker and installer for Morton Booth Co.. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya; two sons, Lloyd Joseph Burrow of Tulsa, OK, Tharon Joseph Keiser of Keytesville, MO; three daughters, Angie Marie Cleveland of Brookshire , MO, Vanessa Ladawn Boyer of St. Joseph, MO, Christie of Mount Vernon, MO; two sisters, Doris Bishop and husband Rick of Neosho, MO, Mary Jane McKinley of Webb City, MO; two brothers, William Lee Keiser of Aurora, MO, John W. Keiser of Cassville, MO; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Trenna Louise Keiser.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Vernon City Cemetery under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
