Duard “Dan” Wilson, 72, of Carthage, passed away on February 9, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
He was born on December 19, 1941, in Vernon, TX to Evelyn and Duard Wilson. Dan lived in Carthage for the past 12 years, moving from Springfield. Dan worked for many years as an optician.
Dan was married to Carolyn Kay (Hilton) Marker in September 1969 in Mansfield, OH. She preceded him in death on October 30, 2012. Dan is survived by a stepdaughter, Jennifer Lynn (Marker) Findlay and her husband Richard J. Findlay of Webster, MA; his grandson Matthew J. Findlay and his wife Mariel S. Findlay of Astoria, NY; and his granddaughter Rebecca K. Findlay of Lake Forest, IL.
