Howard “Lynn” Cupp, 74 passed away February 11, 2014 at Mercy McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage, Missouri after severe heart complications.
Lynn was born October 3, 1939 in Carthage, Missouri to Ivan and Fern (Fenimore) Cupp. He was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Carthage High School Class of 1957. Lynn owned and operated Cupp’s Auto Sales and Spring River Mud Runs of Carthage. Lynn served in the Army National Guard for 4 years. He was an avid pool player and a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals Fan.
Lynn is survived by two daughters Lori Harris and husband Darrell of Carthage,MO. and Lacy Riddle and husband Alex of Springfield, MO. Seven grandchildren Alicia Dodson (Bill), Brandon Frieheit (Brooklyn), Aaron Riddle (Baylee), Ashley Beezley (Robert), Jinah Lee (Jordan Owens), Jerika Lee and Addyson Riddle. Eleven great grandchildren. One sister Karen Holman of Palo Alto, CA. and one brother Kenneth Cupp of Webb City, MO. Lynn is preceded by his parents, and two brothers Gary Cupp and Roland “Jim” Cupp.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday February 13, 2014 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday February 14, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
